How to Create Suspense through camera movements: ( Things I would like to apply)
1) Subtle dolly: The character is moving forward towards the camera while the camera moves back at a slower pace. This would be done by the cameraman and would be effective in cultivating suspense
2)The Unseen: What is unseen is scarier than what is seen. Showing the reactions of the actor and then cutting to a POV. As the director I could incorporate this into the story board and replicate this in order to build suspense.
How to create suspense and tension like Alfred Hitchcock: (Things I would apply)
1) The Sound of silence: Sometimes what don't hear is more powerful than what you do. Silence can make our audience squirm as the anticipation of noise is so tense. We can apply this when we film and edit.
2) Tension is not about what's happening its about what's not happening and the more we wait, the sweeter the release. As Director its key that i am deliberate with the storyline in ortder tro successfully build tension.
Suspenseful opening sequence: ( Things I would apply)
1) The score is very effective in creating suspense, something we should focus on. Underneath the score is jarring discordant noises which amplifies the tension.
2) The color grade is dystopian, cool tone which gives a cold and eerie feel.
3) The credits is very effective as they have used different fonts and distorted them making it uncomfortable to the eye. Our credits is an area to focus on more.

Nobody Home invasion scene: (Things I would Apply)
1) The convention of the audience not knowing what going on leave them waiting as it is harder to predict. Something we could utilize
The Intruder Trailer: ( thing I would apply)
1) The plot is is similar in the way that 'Charlie' is like the female in our film. The female in our film is like Charlie in the ways she is unexpectedly a threat. Watching this whole film would be a good way to do more research.
